Admissions 2011-2012
The Department of Economics has successfully completed the admissions into First Semester of B.A. (Honours) Economics. A total number of 64 students have been admitted under various categories, against sanctioned seats of 39.
In case of Open/General category the Final (fourth) Cut off percentage has been 95.50% for the Commerce Stream, 94.50% for Science Stream and 93% for Arts Stream and in case of OBC category the final cut off has been 79% for Commerce Stream, 78% for Science Stream and 77% for Arts Stream. The Department has filled all seats under ST-SC and OBC category and strongly committed to implement the reservation policy of Government of India in letter and spirit for upliftment of the socially and educationally backward sections of the society as enshrined in the 93rd Constitutional Amendment Act.
