"Parivartan", the Social Service Society of Sri Venkateswara College lives up to its motto "Be the change you wish to see in the world". It actively organizes various events and activities throughout the year, such as teaching the kids of construction workers within the campus, after college hours; blood donation camps, stress management workshops, plays on social issues, Yamuna cleaning, and collaborating with the National Association for the Blind (NAB). The year 2008 witnessed the launch of the first edition of its annual magazine "Jagriti" at a programme organized by the Society during the annual college festiva "NEXUS 2008, in memory of the terror victims of Mumbai.
