Inter College Migration
Application for migration or withdrawal from college will be considered as per the rules of the University of Delhi. Migration from other Colleges of the University of Delhi may be considered subject to the availability of seats and the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions of the college. The last date for Inter-College Migration is 31st December.
Inter University Migration
Migration from other Universities will be allowed only if seats are available. The last date for Inter-University Migration is 31st December. No direct admission in Second Year Honours Courses is allowed as per the University of Delhi rules.
Admission of a student to the university in the second academic year of study for degree examination may only be allowed on the ground that the parent or guardian of the student is resident of or has migrated to Delhi No Inter-University migration is allowed to II or III year B. Sc. (Hons) Courses/B.Sc (Restructured) Courses. Candidates who seek migration to II Year of B.A. (Prog/ B.Com. courses are required to take part I and II examinations simultaneously at the end of the second year and shall be governed by the rules laid down for promotion by the university. Migration is only a permissive facility and not an obligatory one. Each such migration is subject to the approval of the Academic Council of the University on individual merits of each case.
Change of Subjects
The last date for change of elective subjects or MIL in the first year of the course is 16th October i.e. the re-opening of the First Day of the Second Term. Transfer from Honours to II Year B.A. / B.Com.Programme Any student of B.A. (Hons.) or B.Com. (Hons) Course, who has passed the part I examination or a student who has been declared
Transfer from Honours to II Year B.A. / B.Com.Programme
Any student of B.A. (Hons.) or B.Com. (Hons) Course, who has passed the part I examination or a student who has been declared eligible for promotion to the next higher class on the result of the Part I examination or a student who has failed at the Part I examination, obtaining at least 25% marks in the aggregate (Main subject and Qaulifying and Subsidiary Subjects taken together) in each case, may at his option, be allowed to proceed to the II year class of the B.A. or the B.Com Course at the beginning of the B.A. or the B.Com Course at the beginning of the 1st term of the II year of the Course if otherwise eligible for admission to the I year of the B.A. or the B.Com Course, as the case may be as per qualification possessed by him at the B.A. or the B.Com. Courses, as the case may be, at the end of the II Year of a course, if otherwise eligible.
No direct admission is permissible to the II Year of B.A. (Hons) including B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics and Statistics and B.Com. (Hons) Course. B.Sc. (Rest Courses).
GAP YEAR CASES
Students who have had a gap in their education must bring any documents such as admission slips, admit cards etc. in original, for any examination taken or certificates of courses attended in the gap period, to be eligible for admission to the undergraduate course for which they qualify. Such students should meet the S. O. (Admin).
